This Level 5 Golem Quarry stands as a resilient fortress, leveraging the strength of the rocky terrain. Each rock compartment houses a Blast Bow, strategically placed to provide wide coverage, while Rocket Artilleries on the left, right, and center flanks bombard enemies from afar. The shared entrance to the rocky core is fortified with walls, forcing attackers into a funnel and into the teeth of your defenses. Inside the rocky compartments, there are no walls, which limits the effectiveness of Graveyard Spells by preventing concentrated troop spawns. The distribution of defenses across the rocky area minimizes the impact of mass troop attacks and prevents quick access to the core of the base. The spread-out defenses within the rocky compartments limit the value of Graveyard Spells. Blast Bows cover large areas and quickly clear skeletons, while Rocket Artilleries target mass troop formations with devastating splash damage.

Strengths

Troops that breach the outer layer find themselves running laps inside the base, which minimizes their effectiveness. This ring forces even the strongest units to split up or wander, buying valuable time for defenses to shred them.

The Blast Bow sits deep inside the core, safeguarded by multiple layers of walls and the surrounding ring. Giant Cannons provide overlapping fire, ensuring that even if the outer layer is breached, the attacker faces relentless splash damage. The positioning ensures these vital defenses cover all approaches, leaving no blind spots.

The single entrance exploits the AI behavior of Battle Rams, which head straight for wall segments with buildings attached. This guarantees the Rams head directly into the core, where Crushers, mines, and Guard Post troops lie in wait. It’s a brutal welcome that weakens the first wave of any attack.
