Diamond CWL layout

TH18 CWL base built as a strong mix of anti 2 star and anti 3 star defense with a diamond-style layout and a dangerous separated core island. The core holds the Town Hall, Lava Launcher and 2 Sweepers aimed toward the upper left and upper right, making air entries awkward and forcing attackers to commit spells carefully. Above the core island sits a Revenge Tower island with Black Mines placed to punish Hydra, Dragons and Dragon Riders that path toward it. On both sides of that Revenge Tower island, Firespitters aim toward the left and right corners, while the Monolith on the left and Multi Gear Tower on the right add heavy pressure around those lanes. The left and right corner compartments are Rage Spell Tower zones with Scattershots, Multi Infernos, Multi Archer Towers and ground-air X-Bows in range, creating two huge kill zones for side entries. At the bottom, the base opens into a wide lower angle with the Clan Castle below the core island, 2 Super Wizard Towers beside it and a Multi Inferno underneath. If attackers spam from the bottom, the wall structure pushes troops left and right instead of straight into the middle. The traps are also built for CWL mind games: the Giga Bomb is on the upper right, making players expect the main trap farm there, but the Giant Bombs are stacked on the left because CWL only gives attackers one hit. Red Air Bombs are stacked between the Monolith side and the core island, protecting the stronger Monolith value when air troops try to path from the bottom toward the Town Hall. This makes the layout excellent for CWL because it can deny safe 2 stars while still having enough trap pressure to stop the 3 star.

Strengths

  • Diamond core island

The Town Hall, Lava Launcher and dual Sweepers sit in a separated core island that blocks clean air pathing and makes direct entries expensive.

  • CWL trap mind game

The Giga Bomb placement suggests right-side danger, but Giant Bombs are stacked on the left to punish one-hit CWL scouting assumptions.

  • Raged corner kill zones

Both side corners use Rage Spell Towers with Scattershots, Multi Infernos, Multi Archer Towers and ground-air X-Bows to punish side pushes.

  • Bottom split defense

The lower open angle with Clan Castle, Super Wizard Towers and Multi Inferno forces spam attacks to split left and right instead of moving into the core.
