
Ring of Ruin TH17
The Ring of Ruin TH17 is a powerhouse Legend League trophy base designed to deny two-star attacks while frustrating opponents with deceptive pathing and high-hitpoint compartments. The base’s core is a fortress with the Town Hall, Clan Castle (housing 2 Ice Golems, 2 Witches, and 1 Archer), and dual Air Sweepers facing downward to disrupt air pushes from below. Surrounding the core are two layers of walls with empty space to confuse wall breakers and funneling attempts. Beyond that lies the true challenge: a deadly ring of compartments brimming with high-damage defenses and tanky storages, making it incredibly tough to reach the center.
Clan Castle Troops
Strengths
The double wall layers and core-centric Town Hall force attackers to either gamble with an outside push or risk losing time circling the ring. CC troops slow down entry into the core, while Sweepers and spell towers punish direct assaults.
The ring is composed of four corner compartments, each packed with tanky storages and key defenses: Top Left & Top Right: Multi Infernos, Multi Archer Towers, Ricochet Cannons, and the Gear Up Tower; Bottom Left: Houses the Monolith, adding deadly single-target pressure; Bottom Right: Balanced splash and single-target damage with a Ricochet Cannon and Multi Inferno.
Bottom Side: Two Poison Spell Towers paired with Firespitters punish ground-heavy pushes. Ricochet Cannons and Air Defenses ensure balanced air-ground coverage; Top Side: Dual Scattershot compartments with Multi Archer Towers, Ground X-Bows, and Air Defenses ensure any top approach is met with brutal splash damage.
Anti-2 Star Specialist: Town Hall is heavily shielded with distracting compartments and ring pathing. Layered Defense: Empty spaces between wall layers absorb wall breakers and funnel troops into traps. Balanced Air & Ground Coverage: Infernos, Ricochet Cannons, and Spell Towers ensure all attack strategies are countered.
